Merry Christmas from Nature/Nurture. A new song that’s an old song from a band that hasn’t been a band in 10 years.

Wait…what?

If you happened to catch us at one of our last couple shows, or the reunion show we did a year later, you may have heard this. It’s the last thing we ever wrote together. Technically, it’s the last two things we wrote together, and knowing we were in our last couple months as a band, we wanted to play them live so we jammed them together, called it one song, and rode off into the sunset. We always wished we had taken the time to record some of those last tunes before we broke up, so we figured 2021 was as good a year as any to get around to making a recording of this one.

So we're a decade late. Sue us.

Our favorite bit of trivia about this song is that it contains musical ideas that originated from our first practice ever, one of our last practices ever as a trio a year later, and one of the few songs we wrote from the ground up as a quartet. Truly a full circle mincemeat of riffage.
